We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant 

Locations: Portharcourt - Rivers, Aba - Abia

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records for the factory operations

Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the factory

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the factory

Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making

Assist in inventory management and control

Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

ICAN certification (In view) is required

1-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and accuracy
