Job Title: IT Support Technician

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to end-users, including staff and event organizers.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral devices.

Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring stability and security.

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and software licenses.

Assist in the setup and support of audiovisual equipment for events.

Stay up-to-date with technology trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field preferred.

Proven experience in IT support or a related role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory.

Familiarity with virtual server environments.

Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with WPA2 and other Wi-Fi protocols.

Understanding of TCP/IP for networking.

Knowledge of Azure or other related cloud environments is an added advantage.
