International Facilities Services (IFS) Group, a Cleaning and Facility Management company, is currently recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost and Proposal / Bidding Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Gbagada - Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Develop costing for input into bid and proposal writing

Work as bid-proposal officer

Provides analysis in the development and support of contracts, projects and bids

Determines how decision support systems will provide the information required to make effective business decisions; translates requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools.

Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.

Ensure attainment of margins on all jobs and revenue assurance

Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.

Make estimates of costs of prospective jobs and pricing and develop into proposal

Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect the prices and profitability of products or services.

Researching, writing, and organizing information in a professional and credible manner.

Identify opportunities for bid submissions,

Conduct research, write and edit proposals in a timeous manner,

Negotiate with stakeholders, and ensure we win the bids.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction, or another relevant discipline.

Must be proficient in EXCEL

Experience as a bid writer is advantageous.

Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends.

Superb written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Deadline-driven and committed to excellence.

Sound understanding of the facility management industry and the built-up environment will be advantage.

Salary

N120,000 - N200,000 / month.
