I am currently recruiting for a planning engineer who will help engineering teams deliver projects on schedule. He/She will develop strategies, determine material and labor costs, monitor crew performance, ensure health and safety regulations are obeyed, and that communication channels are open.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions and strategies in project management, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field

• Research and issue reports, develop presentations, and propose software solutions

• Ensure accuracy and accountability in coding, editing, and writing reports, letters, and memos

• Maintain files, records, and documents using applicable software systems and procedures

• Assist with training staff on the use of various software programs

• Assist with budgeting and scheduling

• Procure goods and services, including vendors and consultants

• Attend conferences and trade shows to broaden professional knowledge and network.

• Maintain hardware and software inventories.

Qualification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

• 15 years of proven experience working as an engineer in an oil and gas industry.

• Ability to tender bid.

• Knowledge of engineering software and design is compulsory

• Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Demonstrated experience in developing presentations, spreadsheets, and other supporting documents

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skill.
