Job Title: Accountant
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports.
Document financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommend financial actions to management after an in-depth analysis of accounting options.
Keep up-to-date financial information relating to balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Responsible for the reconciliation of any financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Candidates should possess an OND / HND qualification with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Candidate mustpossess good reporting skills, attention to detail, time management, organization skill, data entry management and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
