RECRUITMENT OF DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST IN A SPORTS BETTING AND GAMING COMPANY, VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS

A sports betting and gaming company is currently looking to fill the vacant position of DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description:

- Develop a digital marketing initiative to help us achieve our business goals

- Manage our digital marketing calendar

- Maintain our online presence and reputation 

- Oversee the digital marketing budget 

- Support the creation of visual concepts for promotional activities

- Optimize website structure and content for search engines (SEO) and/or the use of paid online advertising (SEM) in order to drive relevant traffic to the website

- Ensure the conversion of website visits into online sales

- Manage the online presence and brand of the company

- Track our digital marketing performance

- Create and update digital marketing reports

- Develop a social media framework 

- Handle our social media pages and channels

- Create and implement a successful content strategy to ensure that the company’s objectives are met

- Effectively handle social networking tools and platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.

- Handle affiliate marketing and 

- Implement affiliate marketing activity including email campaigns, newsletters, blogs

- Manage and coordinate affiliate accounts

- Form the first of point of contact with affiliates and establish regular communication with them for the resolution of questions/queries they may have

- Generate and prepare periodic and other ad hoc reports regarding affiliates

Requirements / Qualifications:

- A B.Sc or HND in marketing or communications or any related field from a recognized institution

- Must have concluded NYSC

- A knowledge of the sports betting and online gaming industry is an added advantage

- Should have a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in digital marketing 

- Qualifications in digital marketing is an added advantage 

- Proficiency with SEO, SEM and related tools and software 

- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics

- Prior experience executing social media campaigns

- Full understanding of the major social media platforms

- Excellent communication skills

- A Problem Solver

- A Team Player

- Have strong reporting skills

- Must be prepared to hit the ground running
