1. Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking to hire a customer-oriented restaurant supervisor to ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly.

The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of the FOH staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers.

You should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs.

To be successful in this role, you should exercise effective management skills and take necessary disciplinary actions to address poor staff performance.

Responsibilities

Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff

Managing restaurant staff's work schedules and roster

Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.

Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations

Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service

Monitoring and reporting inventory

Ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked

Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills

Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service

Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

Amount of paid reservations

Average table occupancy

Quality and consistency of dishes served

Food presentation

Number of rejected orders

Customer satisfaction score (CSAT)

Requirements

What we are looking out for:

Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality with 2 - 6 years relevant work experience.

Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The ability to stand for extended periods

Strong management skills

Excellent organizational skills

Effective communication skills

2. Job Title: Waitress

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are looking to hire a very efficient waitress whose responsibility is primarily taking guests’ orders and delivering their food and drinks to them professionally.

The ideal waitress uplifts the dining experience for customers.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and present them with the menu

Inform guests about the restaurant's special promotions

Take orders according to the approved process

Assist in setup activities

Proactively suggest food and beverages to the guests in a bid to up-sell

Communicate in a friendly manner

Display the highest standards of hospitality

Coordinate with the Cashier, Kitchen staff, and team on food order and preparations

Fulfil members/guests' needs which include offering desserts/drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses

Observe grooming standards consistently

Observe strict hygiene and cleanliness at all times

Assists with restaurant inventory management

Opens and closes the shift

Attend meetings and training sessions

Other tasks and duties assigned.

Requirements

What we are looking out for:

Candidates should possess an OND qualification

A minimum of 2 years work experience.

Proven work experience as a Waitress

Attentiveness and patience for customers

Excellent presentation skills

Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work shifts

Must live within the Island.

3. Job Title: Restaurant Chef

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Chef who will prepare, season, and present meals and dishes according to approved standards.

You will initiate new ideas in cooking methods and in service delivery.

Responsibilities

-Prepare and serve meals on the menu

-Design new recipes and plating ideas

-Inspect the quality of all meals to ensure consistency and tastiness

-Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes

-Implement hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness

-Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives

-Perform administrative tasks, take stock of food and equipment supplies, and draft purchase orders

-Interface with guests to obtain feedback on food and service quality

-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

-Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers

-Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

-Minimum of two years culinary education and training

-Proven experience working as a Chef

-Proven ability of kitchen management

-Excellent communication skills

-Knowledge of food professional principles and practices

-Good organisational and time management skills

-Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

-Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes

-Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
