We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NETWORK ENGINEER

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full Time

We are looking for a Network Engineer who will deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure network security and connectivity

• Design, implementation and configuration of the network infrastructure which include wireless, switches, routers

• Manage Ingress access, logging and monitoring, traffic analysis and RCA investigations

• Network Switch, Firewall and VPN management (client and Site-to-site), layer 3 troubleshooting

• Responsible for network and platform security, end to end latency minimization

• Manages client connections access, create and manage client connections (Whitelist and VPN)

• Hardware, Server, and Kubernetes Security policy implementation

• Administration of company's voice over IP infrastructure

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations

• Maintain adequate knowledge of IT protocols, technology and company portfolio as assigned e.g. Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, VMWare, Citrix etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a Network Administrator/Network Engineering role

• Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching

• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure

• Maintain adequate knowledge of IT protocols, technology and company portfolio as assigned e.g. Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, VMWare, Citrix etc.

• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired

• Ability to set up and configure server hardware

• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

Salary Range: 200k-250k Monthly Gross
