Job Title - Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Prepare all installation and selection documents for all mechanical equipment.

 Prepare and design all construction bid documents.

 Analyze all mechanical designs and prepare various concepts for piping designs and develop required mechanical drawings.

 Plan and execute projects to ensure maximum productivity within optimum quality.

 Conduct quality control assessments and ensure that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulations.

 Monitor maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to pipelines, as needed.

 Provide technical support to the members of the project team

 Perform pipe stress analysis to verify the piping design layouts are in compliance with applicable codes.

 Develop and update requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations to include fabrication/construction specifications of all piping components and materials

 Generate and monitor the planning of man hours for the project

 Keep up to date with the latest advancements in design software, technical standards, and construction techniques

 Provide support to all purchase activities and evaluate all vendor submittals.

 Inspect all mechanical equipment and analyze all equipment and ensure adherence to all present technology.

 Assist to make arrangements for all business trips for various departmental tasks and designing all technical specifications and assisting to procure and fabricate all materials.

 Coordinate with various teams to administer all assignments.

 Interpret all codes and maintain the overall performance of all piping activities.

 Develop new methods to recommend improvements to all activities of the piping section.

 Draw blueprints for piping systems

 Any assigned duty by management towards effective and lawful discharge of duties and responsibilities.

Skills

 Ability to use Microsoft Office like word, excel, PowerPoint, and Engineering Software

 Good communication skill

 Ability to work independently without supervision

 Attention to details

Education/Professional Certification & Experience Required

 BSc./HND in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering in a reputable institution

 Proficiency in AutoCAD and Pipeline Studio

 Minimum of 5-6 years experience.
