Job Title: Forklift Operator

General Responsibilities

Assist with the operation of a modern warehouse including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of materials. the Assistant Warehouse Officer will take on the responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.

Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.

Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

Securing loads to the machine before transportation.

Inspecting for damages to vehicles.

Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.

Operating and managing technical equipment.

Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.

Identifying workplace safety hazards.

Adhering to safety management standards.

Adhering to production schedules.

The Person

-OND is required for this role.

-2 to 5 years of proven working experience.

-Valid fork-lifting certificate

-Highly coordinated and organized

-Excellent hand-eye coordination.

-Proficiency in operating technical machinery.

-Good physical condition.

-Mathematical aptitude.

-Good organizational skills.

-Attention to detail.

-Good written and verbal communication.

-Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards

-Must be residing or willing to relocate to Anambra State
