JOB TITLE- COCOA TEAM LEAD

JOB LOCATION: IBADAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure effective implementation of the RA Cocoa Sustainability Standard for success.

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders in the respective project LGAs (LGA Chairperson, community village heads, FBO leaders, farmers, LBAs etc)

• Ensure farmers onboarding, enrollment & expansion in all communities that are not in protected areas.

• Implement RA Sustainability standard and other sustainability activities as required by partners and are necessary to keep Wacot at the forefront of sustainable value chain production. 

• Ensure that all records of field expenses are maintained and available to respective managers, finance executives, M&E officers whenever needed.

• Ensure field officers comply with all administrative and operational procedures and policies especially during field activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years’ experience in sustainability initiatives & programs implementation (such as RA, Organic, Fairtrade etc.) and programs in the development sector.

• Bachelor’s degree and preferably a post graduate degree in social works or related field.
