We are looking for Petroleum Engineers who wish to develop their Petroleum Engineering knowledge whilst pursuing an exciting and challenging technical and business career. It is ideally suited to an engineer who has graduated within the last few years. 

Role: Petroleum Engineer

Reporting To: Technical Manager

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

In the role you are

- Deploying and supporting field management software solutions to existing and new clients

- Providing consultancy and training services to clients on integrated asset modelling, production optimization, digital oilfield and hydrocarbon accounting.

- Providing technical advice and support to clients on all aspects of the deployed systems (production, reservoir, allocation, real time systems). 

- Able to exercise a notable amount of personal initiative and pro-active commercial approach to developing the company's business. 

- Moderate travel required. 

Technical Skills Required

- Excellent understanding of petroleum engineering concepts

- Knowledge of production system modelling tools (e.g. Petex IPM Suite) is desirable.

Some experience or readiness to develop relevant skills in any of the following would be beneficial:

- Database Administration - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 onwards (Intermediate/Advanced)

- Window Server Administration - Windows 2008 R2 (Intermediate/Advanced) onwards (Active directory, Hyper-V, Group Policies)

- T-SQL Querying (Intermediate/Advanced) and creating reports using SSRS and Power BI using data from MS SQL Server database.

- Osisoft PI

Presentational Skills

Excellent Spoken and Written English

Education

• Petroleum Engineering (Minimum of 2nd Class upper)

• MSc Petroleum engineering

Experience working with databases and historians would be considered a bonus.
