Our client, one of the thriving Marine Companies headquartered in Port Harcourt has excellent opportunities for experienced, young, and aspiring professionals to join their team in the positions below:

 

Assistant Technical Manager (Ref: ATM 2022)

Requirements:

▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, or Naval Architect Engineering.

▪️ A master’s degree in any of the above fields is an added advantage.

▪️ A valid Chief Engineer or Second Engineer certificate of competency license.  

▪️ Minimum ten years experience with at least five years sea going experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.

▪️ Highly numerate with very good communication skills.

 

Operations Officer (Ref: OPS 1 2022)

Requirements:

▪️ University degree and/ or Higher National Diploma in Marine Engineering and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or another related area.

▪️ 3-5 Years’ seaman experience is an advantage.

▪️ Relevant marine professional qualification.

▪️ Good knowledge of marine machinery equipment and vessel facilities.

▪️ Knowledge of engineering dynamics.

▪️ Knowledge of vessel operations.

▪️ Mandatory Basic Safety STCW 95.

▪️ Knowledge of dry docking of vessels, flag states, and class requirements is an advantage.

 

 

Other considerations:

Both positions are Full time, permanent, and situated in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
