Delagio Supermarket and Cafe is a newly opened supermarket, wine shop and Cafe. It is located opposite the VFS visa office in Lekki Phase one, Lagos, Nigeria.

We are recruiting an experienced and competent individual to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Supermarket Supervisor

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in the daily business operations of the supermarket.

General tasks include supervising employees, inventory management, communicating with and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the Supervisor and the Managing Director.

Assist Supervisor to train staff

Take inventory records

Leads and supervises a team of Sales Attendants.

Performs daily store activities such as opening and closing procedures which includes monitoring attendance, and activating security systems.

Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal

Organize sales and product demonstrations

Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements

Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances

Qualifications

Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a worker in a supermarket.

Demonstrates excellent leadership skill

Pays close attention to detail.

Team player.

Communicates clearly and effectively

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

Manages time efficiently.

Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.

Salary

N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
