We are recruiting suitable individuals to join our finance team in the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

-The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices and reconciling any irregularities in receipts.

-To be successful in this position, you must possess commercial and business awareness skills, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritise and ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

-Prepare and send invoices to clients

-Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices

-Reconcile any irregularities in receipts

-Maintain precise records of all incoming payments

-Performing all other account reconciliations

-Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries

-Assisting in general financial management and analysis

-Generating account statements

-Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances

-Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting

-Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed

-Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payment

-Performing all other tasks assign by the finance team

Requirements

-B.Sc or HND in Accounting

-Part qualified (ICAN or ACCA)

-Minimum of two (2) years cognate working experience (preferably in the retail industry)

-Ability to use Sage accounting software

-Commercial and business awareness.

-Problem-solving skills and initiative.

-Strong attention to detail.

-Good time management skills, ability to prioritise tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.

-Ability to work well in a team and build strong working relationships.

-Excellent IT skills

-Proficiency in MS Office specifically in Microsoft Excel.

-The desire to learn and take on new challenges.
