Job Description

-Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of the beach and works with other managers, in planning, directing, and coordinating operations to meet the expectations of the customers.

-Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM.

-Supervises daily shift operation and monitors compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures.

-Seek ways to reduce waste and decrease operational costs.

-Supervises staffing levels to verify that customer service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.

-Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

-Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.

-Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

-Monitors and maintains the productivity level of employees.

-Verifies that all team members/supervisors understand the brand-specific philosophy.

-Maintains the operating budget and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed.

-Assists supervisors in understanding team members ever changing needs and expectations, and how to exceed them.

-Appraise all staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

-Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to verify understanding.

-Research and identify industry trends and make recommendations for improvement.

-Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.

-Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and passion for providing excellent service.

Stays readily available/approachable for all team members.

Demonstrates knowledge of the brand-specific service culture.

-Interact professionally with all employees, customers, and sometimes suppliers.

-Develop strategies to achieve each store’s financial, operational, and customer-service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges.

-Development of staff, experience including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

-Motivate, coach, and strengthen the store managers, supervisors, retail operators, and other staff.

-Provide expertise on key customer issues, team staffing and management, store operations, and company policies and procedures.

-Offer and inspire exemplary customer service.

-Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status of operations to the management.

-Other responsibilities to ensure ease of operations.
