An accountant is needed by a foremost Pharmaceutical & Healthcare business company in Nigeria with growing product portfolio and workforce.

•Minimum Qualification: Degree in Accountancy 

•Experience Length: Minimum of 5 years 

•Age Range – 25 to 32 years 

JOB DESCRIPTION/ REQUIREMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Assist Finance manager to obtain financial data from several sources such as expenses incurred in the month, day, etc.

•Prepare monthly/weekly performance report (profit/Loss) for the Company.

•Perform systems analysis to identify any irregularities (such as wrong posting) and propose immediate corrective actions.

•Ensure that internal controls are enhanced and maintained at an acceptable level, handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

•Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

•Liaise with Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) and other statutory agencies. 

•Audit financial transactions and documents

•Comply with financial policies and regulations

•Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process

•Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

REQUIREMENTS

•Work experience as an Accountant for minimum of five years.

•Must be in the age bracket (25 – 32 years)

•Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

•Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage/Peachtree 

•Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables

•BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

•Auditing experience is an added advantage 

•ICAN/ACCA Membership is an added advantage.
