Job Title: Waitress

Location: Warri, Delta

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Waitress to take orders and deliver food and drinks to our customers.

Responsibilities

Present the menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)

Inform customers about the day’s specials

Offer menu recommendations upon request

Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software,

Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff

Serve food and drinks.

Collect bill payments & deliver payment receipt

Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning

Meet with the manager to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)

Follow all relevant health department regulations

Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Qualifications

Secondary / High School Diploma; custemer care and food safety experience is a plus but not mandatory.

2 - 4 yeras experience.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress

Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. POS)

Basic math skills

Attentiveness and patience for customers

Job Description

The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Organizes and oversees the staff schedules. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties / Responsibilities

Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.

Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus.

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.

Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.

Promote the brand in the local community & recommend ways to reach a broader audience.

Qualifications

BSc / HND in Food Technology Management, Office Technology Management, Business Administration, or related Art Courses.

Minimum of Three (3) years previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.

Successful completion of corporate training in food, confectionery, or hospitality program E.G from DYEN GROUP or any other well-disciplined & prestigious training academy is a must.

We are looking for a Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers and the Responsibilities include:

Studying recipes,

setting up menus and preparing high-quality national & continental dishes.

Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner.

You should be familiar with sanitation regulations.

Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients Cook food in a timely manner.

Inform wait staff about daily specials Ensure appealing plate presentation

Supervise Cooks and assist as needed

Monitor food stock and raise requisition for manager approval.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Qualifications

Diploma in any of the Art and Social Sciences will be considered but preferably Diploma in Food Technology.

Minimum of Two years (2) years chef experience in a well-established restaurant or hotel.

Successful completion of corporate training in food, confectionary, or hospitality program E.G from DYEN GROUP or any other well-disciplined & prestigious training academy will be an added advantage.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Designing and improving recipes.

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, Ice-Cream, Pizza, Meat-Pie, Shawarmas, Chicken-Pie, Hot dog, doughnut, vegetable role, chicken puffs etc.

Decorating and displaying finished products.

Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.

Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.

Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for next production.

Ensure the environment is always neat.

Qualifications

Diploma in any of the Art and Social Sciences will be considered but preferably Diploma in Food Technology.
