A reputable Real Estate Development Company, situated in Abuja seeks to hire a capable individual for the role of *Junior Architect (Architect 1).* 

The Individual should have minimal work experience, detail-oriented, goal-driven and with abilities to carry out directed functions to management and ensuring excellent delivery of their daily activities as stated below.

*Job Description*

• Researching and analyzing zoning and subdivision regulations and codes to support developing the most efficient and cost-efficient preliminary plans and conceptual site plans for residential and commercial real estate development sites.

• Producing Innovative, agreed construction drawings for statutory approval and development.

• Attending meetings and writing reports, as it relates to development projects (Planning

Board, Site Development Review Committee, etc).

• Conducting preliminary research using the AGIS, Land records and development tracking portal and other public records to gather property information and present it to project managers.

• Researching deeds.

• Writing statements of justification (a document demonstrating a project’s

compliance with the Zoning ordinance, master/sector plans and general plan).

• Working closely with other environmental consultants, zoning attorneys, and regulators on all phases of projects.

*Job Requirements*

- A minimum of Bachelors of Architecture from a recognized institution.

- Prior experience in corporate roles shall be an added advantage.

- Proficient skills in Modern Architectural Design Applications such as Revit, Lumion, AutoCAD, BIM, Sketch-up, etc.

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and data processing tools are necessary.

- Understanding of social media usage for campaign shall be an added advantage

- Ability to learn fast and adapt to a new environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
